At Lucky J’s we serve up Southern Classics with a Texas flare. Our original trailer opened up on Burnet Road in the Spring of 2009 serving the traditional dish of fried chicken and waffles. When it was time to launch our second location on E. 6th and Waller, we figured it was time to mix things up a bit. We took our signature blend of 17 herbs and spices and created a boneless incarnation of the classic chicken and waffle set-up thus the Chicken and Waffle Taco was born: a handheld delicacy perfect for the late night diner. These days we’re still slinging waffle tacos from our 6th street location but we’re also serving up some killer Cajun and Southern plates out of our restaurant at 5035 Burnet Road. Stop by and say hi to Jason and Nic seven days a week. Plus we’ve also got two catering trailers that are available for all your chicken and waffle needs.
